Do it afraid

The Bible says that we should not fear anything because God is with us. Fear means to flight, and so what the Bible is really saying to us is that when we are faced with challenges or that new thing( the unknown, we should not run away from it but face it head on. That is being courageous in the presence of fear.

Do it afraid.

Fear will never be absent.

In this life you will rather make fear your friend or an enemy. But either way we live with it. It is kind of cool to feel scared, sometimes it is a fuel to do something. Use this fuel and you will always get things done and goals accomplished.

Fear of the unknown.

Joyce Meyer says that it is not fear of the unknown but anxiety of not knowing everything. my advice to you, stop! Stop wanting to know every aspect of your life and let God be in control. Take life as it comes and put the rest in the care of God.

Do it afraid.

Live life to the fullest. Are you scared of going on a date alone? Scared of meeting that person? Scared of raising up your voice? Scared of driving, scared of staying alone? Do it afraid. Do it scared. The more you stretch that muscle, the stronger you get.

Face your fears.

I wish you all the best on your journey to improving yourself and becoming the best you could ever be through doing things afraid. Face your fears and live a fulfilled life.

Day 7

Unlearn to learn a new thing.

Maybe what is keeping you stuck and preventing your growth is the false information you have. Wrong beliefs about money, marriage, friendship, work, career and yourself etc can have a negative impact on your life. And you are stagnant in life if you do not challenge these beliefs and that wrong knowledge.

If you need to set yourself free from the bad and wrong things you learnt over the years you have to substitute these with new, fresh and real information. For the truth shall set you free.

1. Do a thorough research

Learn not to believe everything you hear, learn to question things. Do your own research and be sure of something before your let it in your mind and start believing in it.

2. Invest in new sources of information

Buy new books on the subject you are having false information on. Read new articles on the subject. Ask people who have been there, went through it successfully. Note; Never ask advice about marriage from a person who have 5 part time partners. The information you will get most times will not be good for you.

3. Learn everyday

Make it a point to learn something new everyday. When you wake up, take note of the thing you are trying to get rid off, the false information and take it to yourself to know the opposite of that false information. This will challenge you and also expand your knowledge daily.

Day 6

Spring clean your life from laziness

I want to challenge you right now to set up your mind for winning. Set up your mind positively to overcome your laziness and become a deligent women.

* Time is going anyway.

If you there is an important thing that you have to do, but are lazy, let me remind you that the time is not waiting for you. you choose to spend it doing something useful or to spend it doing something useless. At the end of the day it is 24 hours that you have. And 5 years from now, 5 years would have passed, you will be 5 years older. Either your life would have changed for the better or for the worse. The choice is yours.

* The 5 second rule

This is very effective if you struggle with self discipline. You count from 5- 0 and then you get up without even thinking about it, and do what you are supposed to be doing. If you are anything like me you need something to keep your mind from wandering off of the task at hand. This rule is life changing.

* prepare and plan.

I often feel like I get lazy if I don’t know what to do, how to do it or where to start. So if I have a project to work on, I will first start by preparing where I am going to be doing it. Get all the tools ready and plan out where to begin. Break every bigger task into smaller manageable ones.

Day 4

Spring clean your life from toxic relationships.

Are you suffering in the hands of your partner, friend or relative. Abuse is abuse, nomatter who it is coming from. Physical, emotional, sexual, verbal abuse, refuse! Walk away now!!

1. They don’t think you are good enough

Do not be with people who are hard to please. No matter what you do for them, it is wrong. You are never good enough for them. Run away !

2. Narcissists

Run away from narcissists. People who are never wrong. People who never take a fall for anything. People who know it all, who deserve it more than you do. It is all about them. Believe me you don’t need such in your life.

3. Brutal honest

They do not consider how you feel, they call you nasty names, belittle you as much as they can. Own up to yourself, you deserve better.

4. You are scared of them.

Do not hang around anyone who makes you scared, if you have to fake who you are for their sake, leave them. You should be free to speak your mind and do you.

5. They lie to you

Lies are bad, and if you deserve to know the truth, then you have no right hanging out with them.

6. They gossip about you.

If someone has a problem with you, they should approach you.

7. Pretenders

These type of toxic people pretend to want to help but instead they are making fun of you with other people behind your back. Run away from them.

Day 3

Self-Spring clean from unhappiness.

Spending the rest of your life unhappy doesn’t sound cute and I hope that it is not one of your goals. But if you are just never happy, maybe this is why:

Lack of self care

– Do you take yourself out ( date yourself). – Do you relax. – Do you eat healthy and get enough sleep? – Do you do what you love? Do not! Do not run errands non stop. Take care of yourself.

Do not compare

  • Yourself or your belongings.
  • Your spouse / kids
  • Do not compare anything.
  • Sometimes comparison is healthy if it going to fuel you to perform better. But if it is going to steal your joy, stop doing it, stop comparing.


Always living in the future? Slow down and breath. Be grateful for the sunshine, be grateful for those around you. Be grateful you are still alive.



  • Bitterness can never give forth joy and happiness.

Day 2

Self-spring clean your bad habits

Are you constantly doing something you know that is going to have long term detrimental effects on your body, your health or relations.

My story

I have developed this bad habit of sleeping until noon, and working until morning. I know that I am a night owl and I perform better at night / late hours, but I am afraid of what the side effects of my habit may be. Because I constantly feel like I am living in my own world. At 5 am when people are going to work I will be going to bed, and I will wake up around 12pm, only to repeat the chain again. So I don’t like it anymore because it doesn’t bring me peace, I know that I have to change. But where do you begin? If that is what you are asking right now then read on to get 5 powerful tips to break those bad habits.

  1. Know your why

Knowing your bigger why will help you to get the clarity and the consequences of your bad habit b this will make it easier to deal with.

2. Know your goal

How is life going to be without this bad habit of yours?

3. Know how and what you can do differently.

How can you replace your bad habit? What can you start doing today to start working on your bad habit and reaching your goal?

4. Take it one bite at a time.

Don’t force to do everything at the same time, just try break the habit into small pieces you can start breaking now, and move one step at a time.

From my example above here is how I am going to tackle and eventually break my bad habit.

1. My goal is to wake up at 6, but if I am waking up at 12 I will have to start small before I reach my goal.

2. I will start sleeping at 04:00 am and wake up at 11:00 am.

3. Then I will sleep at 01:00 am and wake up at 08:00 am.

4. Now that I have broken my big bad habit into smaller pieces that are actually attainable, I know that if I am going to wake up at 06:00 am I have to go to bed at 23:00 pm.

Even if you are trying to quit smoking, smoke one cigarette less everyday, and tell yourself to decrease the number of cigarettes you smoke everyday until you get set free.

Do not worry, everyone is battling with a bad habit. Everyone have got their own little secret. Keep on taking the small steps everyday and eventually you will break that bad habit. If you are tired of living other peoples visions of your life then you came to the right place, today you are claiming your life back. Today you are standing up for what you believe in what you believe your life should be like.

Your goals matter

Your vision and dreams matter, if they are important to you then they are worth pursuing. No matter how crazy they sound follow your dreams.

Find out for yourself

Sometimes you should take that risk, sometimes you should follow your heart. It is ok to fail. Do not be stopped by people who are talking from their experiences and their fear of failure. At the end of the day, Life has its own way of teaching us. So you might as well go a different route than anybody else.

Do you

-wear what you like, what you feel comfortable in.

-study what you want

-marry whom you want to marry

-have 10 kids if you want.

-build your house on the moon if that’s your goal.-

eat where drink listen hang out with who you want

-do you! Just know that for every action there is a consequence. But be yourself and live your life.

How to spend more time with God everyday as a young woman.

What if you could have that strong and deep relationship with God. Today I share my 6 best tips for having quality time with God

1. Pray first thing in the morning.

Starting your day with God is the best way to get a deeper relationship with Him. It is a good way to get to know God well, to get to depend on Him totally and cast all your cares to Him. So every morning before you commit yourself to do anything, take the first moments and give them to God.

2. Read the Bible

The Word of God

God speaks to us through His written Word most times, and if you are not reading the Word of God you are missing out. After prayer, go to the Word. And then meditate on it.

3. Listen to church services, podcasts etc.

When you are busy going about your day, preparing your kids, doing laundry, you can have a church service playing in the background.

4. Listen to Christian books on audio books

Like the previous tip, you can always carry an audiobook with you wherever you go and you can listen to it anywhere everytime you are free, or busy with something that do not require your hearing.

5. Read Christian books to your kids.

The more you read Christian books to your kids, the more you familiarise yourself with the Word of God.

6. Hang out with people who speak of the goodness of the Lord.

Bad company spoils good character. Hang out with people who speak of the goodness of the Lord, hang out with people who are going to leave you hungry and thirsty for more of God.

Insider secrets to achieving contentment in life.

Do you often feel like you are not content no matter what you do. It doesnt matter what you have accomplished in life you constantly feel like you are missing something. What if you could become succcesful, balance your life properly and enjoy every step. Here is what i will be discussing with you today:

  • physical success
  • spiritual success
  • emotional success
  • mental success
  • and financial success

Real success is knowing that you are not just your job, you are not just about eating healthy and negleting everything else in your life. You are a human being with a spirit , soul and body. All this 3 should work together in harmony.

1. Physical success

This is about you being content in the fact that you eat healthy, you exercise regularly and you get enough sleep. The only time you are going to know that you are successful in this area is when you are not focusing on one thing only. Not depriving yourself of sleep or rest. Not oversleeping either. there are people who are not having any physical activity at all. During the day they just sit in front of their computer and hardly move, and later on they sit infront of the tv and never get to walk or exercise. This is poor decision making and choices for long term contentment in all areas of your life.


To make sure that you are not being left behind or neglecting your health in this area you should have a schedule. Go to the internet and check for the plan that best suits you. What time of the day are willing to exercise, where, wearing what kind of shoes or clothing. What type of music will you be listening to. Answer those questions then you will be on your way to to physical success.

You should aslo plan your meals. Plan the perfect food for your goals and for your body type. You should strive to have a balanced diet. As you know that you have to eat more fruits and verges. Also eat less sugar, fats and salt. You have to plan your food, what you are going to eat in the morning, at lunch, dinner and what you are going to be snacking on in between the main meal. This will make it easy for you to prepare healthy food in advance, so that you do not hurry and buy an unhealthy quick fix because you are hungry. You can cook in bundles and store in the refrigirator.

sleep / rest

Most people are not getting enough sleep because they are obsessed with only a certain part of their lives. They do not want to stop working, or quit playing that game. Sometimes you have to learn to delay gratification, stop forcing to accomplish a task when it is night and time to sleep. Just think for your brain for a second and go to rest. Do not work 100 hours 7 days a week, that is absurd. Take a novel, relax and read. Go out to movies. Go out on a date with your kids and loved ones. Do not make a mistake of not resting the body that works so much.

I really believe in financial freedom. I do not like lacking. I do not want my children to be in need of anything. My family members should not suffer in my presence. If you are anything like me then you understand the amount of time we might want to invest in the search for financial freedom. It is very easy to just get consumed in this whole idea of wealth and leave other spheres of life suffering. you must learn to fight a good fight.

This may include increasing your streams of income. passive income is one of the best way that people turn to when they are trying to be content in life, because this will allow them to move and do things that they love with people they love. Creating financial freedom is not easy, the first few months will require some sacrifices but as the business gets established you will regain your flexibility. But that’s if you do it correctly.

As i said above, the fisrt few months of creating wealth are going to be very difficult. It includes all the research and planning, it is going to consume much of your time. So it better to warn your family first about what you are going to be doing for the next weeks. Some people have the tendency of just grinding and grinding non stop. Leaving everything else and anyone behind. Refuse this. work smarter, do not be obssesed with riches that you lose your kids and loved ones over it. It is not worth it in the end. And if you want to be content in life, you need to be a complete lady, in spirit, soul and body.

3. Spiritual success

Know what works for you. How many hours of prayer do you need. How many hours/ minutes of meditation do you need. Most people who are depressed and suffering from anxiety do not pray at all. You need to go to God and just pour out your heart, ask Him to take your burden and give you His yoke that is light. In this life we go through a lot and there are lots of temption, trials and tribulations that needs us to be rooted in prayer, the word of God and meditation on the word. You will realise how true to His word our God is, when you read it, meditate upon it and act on it in faith. this is one place you do not want to be left out on. Seek spiritual success with your power and with everything in you. That way you will be content and grateful for everything you have.

4. Emotional success

Your emotions determine a lot of things in this life. How you react to certain circumstances will be as a result of how you deal with your emotions. Have you seen people who just make a huge issue out of a little thing. Because they have anger issues and they mostly get out of hand. To be content in life you have to learn to be successful emotionally.

5. Mental success

This is one of my favourite one. If you need to be content you must learn to cultivate your mind. It is your greatest treasure, whatever you learn will not be taken away from you. There should not be a stage in your life where you say you have reached all the success you wanted , and thus you are no longer reading or learning.

During the times that we are living in it is pretty easy. We have learning tools all around us. But there are just as many distracting tools. So you need to make up your mind about what you are going to feed your mind. “as a man thinketh , so is he“. You should be mindful of what you feed your mind. Watch educational videos, listen to audios, read good books, and join communities like Bouncing Back ‘Up’ that are going to push you everytime you start to fall behind. Lifelong learning is the key for us young ladies if we want to live a happy and content life.

Real life success and contentment is guaranteed if you focus on growth in every sphere of your life. You will not get to the end of your life and realise that you didn’t find the joy ,contentment and success you were looking for because you focused on one area of your life only. You will not be rich, and sick with no one by your side. You will not be sexy and broke because you neglected your finances.
